Our roots trace back to 1996, when my father founded VW Audi Specialists in Hitchin, Hertfordshire. What began as a specialist repair centre quickly became a trusted name among local enthusiasts and discerning car owners. Over the decades, we've grown organically through word of mouth, reputation, and an unwavering commitment to quality workmanship.
In 2020, driven by our dedication to better serving our customers, we expanded into a larger, purpose-built facility just before the COVID-19 pandemic. This new space enabled us to refine our processes, invest in the latest diagnostic equipment, and raise our standards even higher — delivering a service experience on par with main dealers, but without the premium price tags.
As the trust between us and our long-standing clients grew, many began offering us their cherished vehicles — cars we had looked after for years. This naturally gave birth to a new chapter: Hitchin Autohaus.
