Mitsubishi aims to portray its “energetic” character

Mitsubishi Motors is aiming to convey its diverse character at the Geneva Motor Show this spring.

In a statement, the manufacturer said it plans to embody "the lively, warm, enthusiastic, creative, energetic, successful, and stimulating character that is Mitsubishi Motors in 2008" when the show kicks off on March 6th.

The Lancer Prototype-S is one of the company’s models due to be unveiled at the Swiss motor convention. It is suggested by Mitsubishi that this vehicle will be "the most important" of all Lancers when it is launched in Europe later on this year.

Describing the five-door hatchback, the firm’s statement revealed that it will have "a sporty wedge-like profile, sharply chiselled lines, assertive stance born from a long wheelbase and wide track proportions, a high-shouldered rear end and [a]very expressive rear roof spoiler".

Geneva’s 78th international car show runs until March 16th and will play host to over 260 exhibitors, according to the event’s official website.
