Honda to exhibit racing heritage at Goodwood

Honda has looked forward to Goodwood’s Festival of Speed, saying that its racing heritage will be on full display at the event.

Three "milestone" cars, taken from Honda’s collection hall in Japan, will be visiting West Sussex, along with eight motorbikes.

The JAS Motorsport Civic Type-R will be one of the models in attendance, with Honda’s F1 test driver Christian Klien behind the wheel, along with the RA107 Formula One car, driven by Jenson Button.

It will not only be performance cars that are focused on at Goodwood, however, as Honda’s hybrid sports concept model will make a debut appearance in the UK and prove that "green cars can be gorgeous and ultra-cool".

This vehicle will be on display in the technology tent along with Asimo, Honda’s humanoid robot, where visitors will be able to learn the details behind the manufacturer’s innovative creations.

Goodwood’s Festival of Speed will take place between June 22nd and 24th and will be attended by all four of Britain’s Formula One racing drivers, including new sensation Lewis Hamilton.
