Honda has announced it will introduce more than 10 all-new or replacement models in the world’s largest car market during that period – with a fleet of concept cars making their debut at this month’s Beijing Car Show.
The Japanese carmaker has released teasers of two models, the first seemingly a hatchback, the latter a sedan. Honda says all of its China-market models will use its next-generation ‘Earth Dreams Technology’ engines. The company’s engineers have been modifying the engine to ensure Hondas are as economical as possible while retaining performance. The philosophy poses an interesting question: If there’s a hyper-eco diesel engine on offer, does this mean Honda’s moving away from its hybrid system?
Probably not: the company will also launch three of its hybrid models in Beijing: the CR-Z, Insight and Fit Hybrid.
VCARS have almost 4,000 used Honda car currently available.
