Lewis Hamilton has revealed that he wants to continue to grow as a driver and have "the most complete season of my career next year".
Speaking on his official website, the 23-year-old newly-crowned world champion commented that he partied harder during last year’s end of season celebrations (after a title victory was snatched from him) than he did at this year’s bash.
But that’s not to say that he didn’t enjoy this year’s festivities which began with the DJ playing the Star Wars theme as the Brit race ace walked into the room.
The evening ended with Queen’s We Are The Champions with everyone present – mechanics, engineers, catering people, "even bosses", singing along.
When asked whether he’d starting thinking about next year, Hamilton said: "I want to train hard over the winter; I really want to be at the peak of my fitness when we turn up in Australia next year.
"I think I’ve learnt plenty over the last two years that will allow me to build and learn from my experiences."
