Formula 1 golden boy Lewis Hamilton has said he is looking forward to this weekend’s race in Hungary and believed that there is no reason why he cannot win.
According to the Times, Hamilton – who recorded the fastest test time at Jerez last week – maintained that he and McLaren teammate Fernando Alonso have as good a chance as the others and will approach the circuit with a clear mind.
He may have been referring to the ongoing legal matter concerning McLaren, Ferrari and allegations of spying.
"We have a great car and it is important that I go with a clear mind and the same approach as normal," he told the newspaper.
"There is no reason why we can’t go there and win."
This weekend’s race is scheduled to take place at the Hungaroring near Budapest, which clocks in at 2.722 miles and includes 16 separate turns.
