The Jaguar brand contains the best dealerships in the UK, according to the 2012 JD Power Dealer Satisfaction Survey, published by What Car?
Luxury vehicle division of Japanese automaker Toyota, Lexus came in second, parent company Toyota was third, Mercedes-Benz was fourth and Honda completed the top five. Only car makers with more than 100 respondents were included in the survey. In the category ‘could do better’ were Chevrolet, Fiat, Mazda, Vauxhall, Suzuki and Mini.
What Car? editor-in-chief Chas Hallett confirmed:
“The survey clearly shows that Jaguar dealers have the most friendly, helpful staff, and the best facilities and workmanship. Customer satisfaction is not just about the product, it’s about the whole package, and Jaguar is delivering.”
The survey was the result of feedback from nearly 15,000 customers who had used their dealership within the last 12 months.
The survey asked respondents to rate their dealers in the several areas:
- Ease of making an appointment
- Staff courtesy
- Quality of explanation
- Ease of access
- Parking convenience
- Punctuality of collection process
- Charging facilities
- Quality of work
- Condition of car on return
