The Independent’s piece is One For The Road: An older owner needs less power, easier access Terry Hamilton has always owned comfortable cars but as he is now 81, he’s less concerned about power, more interested in easy access and has up to £12,000 to spend. The Mail reports on the world’s smallest electric car that can fit inside a lift and you can drive it right up to your desk. The Volpe is just one-metre wide and 1.5 metres tall, it can be charged at your desk but there’s not much luggage space! Read more about it here… If you’re looking for a micro car, we have those.
Car Magazine gets on its soapbox and tells the car industry: China isn’t the only market. “The world’s great car makers allowing Chinese tastes to dictate the conception and production of their cars is rather like the world’s great restaurants developing menus entirely to please Americans, merely because there happen to be a lot of them”.
