The world’s fastest supercars promise to be on offer at the NEC’s Top Gear Live between 25th and 28th October.
Top Gear Live will show the phenomenal £840,000 Bugatti Veyron – the Super Sport version of which is the world’s fastest production car, 263mph in case you were wondering. Incredibly, four tyres for the Veyron would set you back £23,500 – Bugatti suggest you change them every 2,500 miles but then they would. Oh, and a routine service? £14,000!
Top Gear will also show the American muscle machine, the SSC Ultimate Aero, 257mph – you were probably wondering that too. The Aero contains a V8, twin-turbo engine whipping up a delicious 1183 hp. The Swedish-built Koenigsegg CCX (a sluggish 245 mph) and Gumpert Apollo (225 mph – pa!) are also on show.
The Bugatti, SSC, Koenigsegg and Gumpert which will be housed at the London Motor Museum Supercar Paddock at the NEC. The Top Gear Arena will also show the Ariel Atom, BAC Mono, Lamborghini Aventador, McLaren MP4/12C, Porsche Carrera GT as well as Aston Martin’s soon-to-be-unleashed Vanquish
Event Director Daniel Nwaokolo confirmed:
“Supercars have always been one of the biggest crowd pleasers at Top Gear Live but this year’s line-up promises to be bigger and better than ever before. We already have four of the world’s fastest machines and more will be confirmed in the run up to the show. For those of us who can only dream of owning one of these remarkable creations – some worth more than a million pounds – a ticket to Top Gear Live is a somewhat more realistic option!”
Tickets are available for via topgearlive.co.uk or by calling 0871 230 5588 with prices starting from just £49*.
