New Vauxhall to offer “great value for money”

Vauxhall has released details of its new Corsavan, which is currently available to order, stating that the model offers “great value for money”.

According to the manufacturer, the vehicle also boasts “style, driver appeal and all-round practicality” and “comprehensive equipment levels”.

A choice of two powertrains is available in the Corsavan – a 1.2-litre, twinport petrol engine or a 1.3-litre CDTi diesel, both of which have been successful in the Corsa car owing to their responsiveness and economical benefits.

New levels of versatility have been incorporated into the new vehicle, with a full-length flat load floor and a taller, wider tailgate, improving practicality. Payload has been increased to 550kg – 85kg more than the model being replaced.

An integrated radio and CD player, body-coloured front and rear bumpers, side protection mouldings and 14-inch wheeltrims all come as standard on the new Corsavan, with additional options of air conditioning and rear park assistance.

“[The] new Corsavan’s car-like driving dynamics and sleek styling make it the perfect stablemate for the Astravan – a vehicle renowned for its driver appeal,” Vauxhall explained in its statement.

Orders for the new vehicle can be placed now, before it arrives at dealers in March.
