It has to be Mazda for many money-minded motorists

Look out for some new Mazda cars entering the used Mazda market very soon – the company thinks they’re great value for money first-hand so they should be even more of a bargain when bought second-hand.

The Mazda MX-5 "offers a truly breathtaking drive and can be enjoyed by motorists all year round,” according to Mark Cameron, sales director for Mazda UK.

Mr Cameron gave the unusual advice that “driving with the top down and the wind in your hair is a perfect antidote to the winter blues".

The Roadster Coupe boasts an efficient wind-blocker at the back of the cockpit which means that drivers can hit the road with the roof down on bright, winter days and still keep warm.

To get an idea of eventual used Mazda prices it is worth noting that the new Mazda MX-5 range begins at just £15,420 on-the-road with Mazda MX-5 Roadster Coupe models starting from around £18,000.

Then there’s the new Mazda RX-8 R3 which is currently available at £24,473, something which should ensure that it is attractively priced in used car showrooms.
