A lucky woman has beaten a range of used Mini Cooper fans to win a new model simply by changing her attitude to banking.
Barbara Capewell scooped the new Mini Cooper when her name was first drawn out of a hat for a competition she was automatically entered into for signing up with NatWest’s mobile phone banking service.
Thanks to the victory, she can now get rid of her used car that is over nine-years-old and enjoy her new Mini.
She said: "Winning a brand new Mini for just signing up for a great service that lets me manage my money on the move is fantastic.
"Now I can’t wait to get behind the wheel and have some fun in my new car."
She added that she "could not believe it" when she received the call to say that she had won.
When reviewing the used Mini Cooper S in the past, Jeremy Clarkson stated in the Times that there was much that he liked about the vehicle including the "funky feel" it provides.
