Universally recognised, the Porsche 911 is one of the best all-round sportscars ever. Incredibly powerful, responsive and raw yet refined and elegant, and growing ever more efficient there is little wrong - or even disappointing - with the 911 today, or the 911 from 50 years ago. Unless, that is, you're looking for a car that is even slightly practical. Or you care what other drivers think of you.
