A Ferrari owned and driven by famous car enthusiast Steve McQueen is to be sold later this year.
Auction house Christie’s announced that the 1963 Ferrari GT Berlinetta Lusso will be sold at the Monterey Jet Centre in California on August 16th.
The iconic car is estimated to fetch up to $1.2 million (£602,800).
Christopher Sanger, vice-president and head of Christie’s car sales in America, described the vehicle as "seductive" and said the company was "thrilled" to be offering it.
"Owned by a man who made the automobile and hard driving an essential component of cool in the 60s and 70s, this Lusso offers a truly unique opportunity for the collector," Mr Sanger added.
"This was his personal runaround – not a film one-off extra – but a car used for the grocery run, as well as trips to the racetrack."
McQueen was well known for his car collection, which included an MG, more than one Porsche, a Siata, a Jaguar and a Shelby Cobra.
Some of his films were also characterised by his exploits on the road, including 1968 crime thriller Bullitt, in which he roared through the streets of San Francisco in a Ford Mustang.
