It is still a reliable and solid car. Have now done 111000 miles. Do get it serviced regularly by someone who knows what they are doing. You can still get get parts for Saabs.

(PS - I am doing this at work, so unable to check what the cc of the engine is - have estimated it, but it may be wrong!) I bought my very beautiful convertible Saab (silver with black soft-top roof) nearly five years ago. It is second-hand and I traded in my older beloved Saab which had done over 200,000 miles (also second-hand) as it was starting to cost me more than it was worth. I had that one for 14 years and based on my experience with it, I bought the slightly newer Saab, whose beauty really appealed to me. I am not disappointed. It was my first automatic car and I love it. I used to be unsure about automatics, but my experience with this one has been second-to-none. The leather seats are divine too, and have spoiled me for anything else! The only problem I have with the car, and that is because of the soft-top, is that it is difficult to reverse by looking out of the rear window. I have to use the side-mirrors. But the angle of the rear window is such that the roof can fold away in the boot. Despite only having two doors, the inside is spacious and very comfortable and has excellent head-room. The turning circle is very tight and the steering is steady. I like the Winter mode which seems to settle the car more securely on the road, and makes me feel safer if driving in snowy or icy conditions. It isn't the cheapest car to run, but I have an excellent garage that keeps it running smoothly. I am desperately sorry that Saab is now out of production. I just hope I can continue to get enough spare parts when they are needed. I recently bought a new badge/decal for the bonnet as a present for the car. I felt it deserved it as it has taken me safely and comfortably and in great style around the country.

A great car with fantastic looks, extremely comfortable and very reliable. I would recommend this car to anyone who wants a comfortable car, great looks and fantastic in the summer.

Powerfull,easy to drive car with reasonable fuel economy. What a pity they don't make them any more!

A Saab driver for the past 30 years this latest (and possibly last!) Saab has been a disappointment. Saab was not the same once sold to GM and now, of course, is no longer produced at all. After years of great driving and lovely Saabs I have not finished on a high note...over to Audi perhaps?

Brilliant car and very comfortable to drive. Only problem is that SAAB have closed down and I am not sure how long spare parts will be available for it. I get 44.1 to the gallon. Only one real issue - the main lights which do not last very long and are very fiddly to replace!

Good second hand car

overall very reliable now millage at 110000 + so far no Mot failure tyre wear very good would buy another if available would also consider buying newer used model

Very satisfied with this car. Plenty of luggage space even with top down. No major breakdown or fault problems.

I bought this car in August and use it mainly for a 40 mile drive to work. I do a bit of town driving and have been on a holiday to Germany in it. I am very happy with its performance. It's pretty comfortable and the children seemed happy in the back. It lacks a drinks holder and it could do with cigarette lighters in the back. I have yet to have it serviced or MOTd, so I cannot comment on the costs or any problems.

An excellent car/model. A pity that I have to let it go (at the end of my personal contract hire) and that there is no available SAAB replacement.

Beautiful car, looks the part. Hood up or down if draws the eye. Not the cheapest car to own but as I do very few miles it works for me. K.
