A good economical car that has lasted me nearly 10 years traveling approx. 300 miles a week to work averaging 18000 miles per year. Due age and Mileage it has had many of the part replace through wear and tear but never over burdening. Had to be towed to the garage twice, one through pure service by Elvan Halshaw and the other was a broken spring. This was my third Fiesta. The only issue I have had was a due to a part redesign I was required to purchase a new part for a service to be completed. They no longer made part for the old design - not acceptable ford.

I have been really pleased with Fiesta's over a period of time ( I've had 4 so far ), and will buy another one going forward. Having test driven different brands & models over a period of time I find that the Fiesta is more sturdy, robust, and better built than other brands of similar size / engine size. I also find that the boot space is larger in comparison too. I also think that the safety features on the Fiesta is superior to other brand cars of a similar size. One of the other reasons I buy Ford is that it is the only car showroom in my locality, and the service I receive from them is excellent.

Fairly good fuel efficiency, better than previous model. Only downside is the slow acceleration when driving on motorways / dual carriageways.

I own the Ford Fiesta Titanium X 1.0 125PS Ecoboost. As someone with a chronic spine problem I was looking for a car that would be comfortable and after sitting in several makes and model I was instantly impressed with the Titanium X. The 1.0 Ecoboost 125 PS engine is very nippy around town and on the open road it soon gets up to the speed limit, at times it is easy to exceed the limit without realising it as the car runs very smoothly and is very quiet. Equipped with the Sony sound system and Ford Sync which allows you to use voice command to control a compatible mobile phone. I have the iPhone 4S and the "seri" voice command is not fully compatible with Ford Sync. I can make and receive calls, and play my music. However I am unable to have txt or email messages read to me and I am not able to send txt or email messages. In fact with my phone connected to Sync I do not hear the txt message being delivered to my phone, it simply gets delivered silently, which can be a real pain as people think I am ignoring the message. The handling of the car is very positive but does suffer from severe torque steer even with the traction control on. Turn traction control off and the car is soon wheel spinning at every opportunity. The ride is comfortable and with the very thick steering wheel you feel as though you are in something a bit more sporty. There is little space for passengers legs and with the deep footwell it can be tricky to exit the rear seats. There is ample boot space, Ford have chosen to not supply a spare wheel for the Fiesta. Instead there is a small compressor which plugs into the cigarette lighter, you the connect a small tin of puncture repair. As you inflate the tyre the sealing fluid is pushed into the tyre and hopefully seals the puncture while inflating the tyre. My previous car was a Toyota Yaris, which had adjustable rear seats so you could slide them backward to give passengers more leg room. In comparison the Fiesta is far more comfortable to sit in, the driving position in a lot more supportive. It is also much quieter than the Yaris, which because of a cheaply built interior used to rattle at the smallest bump. The Fiesta is very quiet, except for the slight purr of the exhaust as you accelerate away. Overall the fiesta is a sporty comfortable car the fuel consumption is slightly less than the Yaris but for a 1.0 ltd engine it has good turn of speed, turn on the air conditioning and it does suffer high fuel consumption. At 70 MPH the gauss was reading 68 MPG turn in the air con and this drops to 48 MPG! The filler for fuel is unique resembling an F1 type filler you just open the fuel cap and slot the nozzle into a one way valve that will only accept the correct fuel filler. If you are looking for a comfortable car with a quick turn of pace and quiet ride then consider the Fiesta. I cannot vouch for the lesser equipped models but the Titanium X ticks all the boxes for me!

I spend a good deal of time in my car while I am at work, and need the blue tooth. When driving in areas where there is a poor reception the device often sticks, and on occasions I have had problems with the on board computer system as a result of the blue tooth. if Iphones are attached to the device there appear to be more problems, these include issues that are not linked to the phone eg engine running slow, engine not starting etc.

I am reasonably satisfied with the Ford Fiesta that I have bought. I am getting 63 mph from it and it is quite comfortable. I would have liked a little more leg room either side of the pedals to rest my feet when they are not on the pedals especially when it is in cruise control. I would like a larger boot to hold 4 suitcases for when we go on holiday with friends.

Not the most glamourous car I've had but reliable, economical and practical. Repairs are usually cheap and parts are readily available. Trouble with door locking, but sure that could be rectified. Split rear seats fold down to provide extra space for luggage. Overall, would recommend as a second car for a family or a single person.
