I usually buy good quality second hand cars and keep them for a long time. I find this to be the cheapest motoring,allows me to have an interesting car cheaply and with very little depreciation.

I cannot fault reliability of my car. If mercedes could give a no cost option for quality cloth seats on the lower spec cars I would be very happy as I don't like leather seats, they can be VERY painful in hot and cold weather. Every thing else about the car is very good.

Comfortable quiet and despite being petrol automatic does over 40 mpg on a long run. Boot a bit small for golf clubs. Service good from manufacturer. Worry about costs after warranty expires.

This is the fourth C Class I have owned, and the best so far. This new one is an inch or two bigger and therefore has a little more space for the rear passengers. It's 'Eco' features make it a remarkably economical vehicle to drive in these years of expensive fuel. Each model improves the ease of driving features and this one makes even long tedious journeys on crowded roads tolerable. It probably won't be the last Mercedes I own, I hope

Good design very comfortable with good performance when required.Diesel engine very economical for a 3litre car ample space for luggage including cage with dog. Overall very satisfied would buy another mercedes.

Driving in access of 2,500 miles per month and averaging 53mpg is a real bonus. The car is slightly underpowered when a quick burst of speed is required but overall comfortable and economic to drive.

Getting very old now, and has been very expensive from time to time when things have needed maintenance/repair or renewal. Will be time for replacement soon.

Most reliable car, its comfortable, easy to drive, I just love my Mercedes even though it is quite old now and has over 1209,000 miles on the clock. Running cost are expensive but have it services every year, and performance is great.

This car does what it says on the tin. Excellent fuel consumption, low road tax, lots of space and performance of a very high calibre. This car is a joy to drive. What is more the purchase price compared favourably with similar models from other manufacturers but with a specification which exceeds all of the others. It is the most comfortable car I have driven on long runs.

This car is the best I have owned to date, having had several quality motor vehicles in my car ownership lifetime. I have driven the more recent model on a couple of occasions over a period of weeks and much prefer the car I have, not finding the newer model as pleasant to drive.

The car is almost 6 years old and I have owned it since new. It is a comfortable car that has given reliable service, with no problems worthy of note. The seats are supportive, and the ride comfort is generally good. The automatic transmission is generally satisfactory, but there is sometimes a jerk when changing from first gear to second gear when the engine is cold. It is an excellent motorway cruiser. However, servicing costs are high, and fuel consumption at an overall 34mpg is nothing special. Rear legroom isn't as good as it should be for a car of this size.

I'm now on my 4th C Class and am extremely pleases with all aspects of the car, it's reliability and support

I have had this car for just over two years, from new. It is a pleasure to drive and very comfortable over long distances. To date it has never let me down. However, it is very expensive to service and I feel that my local Mercedes doesn't value its customers. My only criticism of the car is that, being rear-wheel drive, it handles badly in snow.

Reliable, comfortable and good build quality, just whata merc should be, not very efficient with average 30mpg around town.

I love my car. It is practical yet classy, comfortable but not huge, responds when you need that extra speed but is reasonably economical. As a four door I can cope with elderly relatives and the boot easily accommodates a wheelchair.

I bought my Merc C180 with 6000 miles on the clock in immaculate condition. 4 years later, with 23000 miles on the clock, it is still in perfect working order. What's more, it looks brand new! The paintwork is amazing - still shiny silver with no fade, and yes I know I should be talking about petrol consumption and performance but these are just taken for granted. This car is amazing. I have NEVER had a minute's trouble with it; it has sailed through every MOT; it has never failed to start or broken down; and it drives like a dream on the motorway. Petrol consumption is extremely good too. What more can I say? Buy one of these!!!!

model CLA , very pleased so far , very quiet compared to previous car (mazda6) changing menu seems complicated , clock still on summer time , also digital speed is in kilometers , can only change main mph in centre display ? Main issue so far is that car enjoys drinking petrol , hope this improves. Purchased car from Mercedes at Weybridge , very impressed with set-up which influenced my decision.

This is the worst car I have ever owned. 5 re sprays, 12 new alloy wheels(soft). steering problems, but most of all, Dangerous. When attempting to overtake the car would drop out of drive !!! MB 2002 C270 CARS ARE UNSAFE. The garage could never find the fault. The car cost me around £20,000.00 in extra repairs over 8 years.
