We have an upfront wheelchair passenger(or a drive from) 2018 Fiat Qubo with the 1.3 multijet engine and semi-automatic gearbox. It has had two owners from new and has full service history (having just had our local garage carry out an MOT and service). It has covered only 12, 700 miles from new!!, It has been converted by Sirus conversions, who have installed an automated/electric tailgate and wheelchair ramp (operated via remote). Inside we have one seat which can be in the driver position or passenger position. Currently this vehicle has been used as an up front passenger vehicle, but with further investment it could become a drive from wheelchair vehicle as well. Currently there is no securing system for the drive from position as this vehicle was used by the previous owner as an upfront passenger vehicle only. An additional adaption would have to be added at additional cost such as a wheelchair clamp. There are also no hand controls if required, so again an additional cost for those. It could be used as a driver transfer vehicle so you would secure your wheelchair in the upfront passenger position and slide into the driver seat. In the up front passenger position we have a winch and wheelchair securing straps - consisting of electric front belts and rear manual belts. The rear tailgate and wheelchair ramp are automated which means that they can be operated via the wireless remote to open and close this can allow full independence. Inside we have one front seat (which is removable). There is a switch button handbrake. There is privacy glass to the rear windows. Other specifications to this vehicle includes electric front windows and electric mirrors. We have a CD player and radio and small screen display. This Qubo comes with two keys and two remotes and has remote central locking. There is air conditioning (a must whatever the weather or season). There are five doors which include an up and over tailgate. We also have driver, side and passenger airbags. Reverse sensors to help with parking and manoeuvring are there.
