The Volkswagen Touran sits underneath the larger Sharan in Volkswagen's range, and while it misses out on that car's sliding doors, it matches up pretty well for size, tech and space. The Touran only comes to the UK as a seven-seater, but the third row of seats fold flat into the floor giving the option of five seats with a large boot.
