French car manufacturing giant Peugeot is to supply cars for the much-anticipated Rugby World Cup in 2007, it has been announced.
It is to supply 280 vehicles for the tournament, which is to see games held in France, Wales and Scotland.
The cars will be sued to transport teams, officials and VIPs during the tournament, which is to be the largest rugby event of 2007.
Chairman of the International Rugby Board, Dr Syd Millar, said: "We are delighted that Peugeot has become the second of our global partners for the Rugby World Cup 2007.
"The Rugby World Cup is one of the premier sports events in the world and it is very pleasing that a multi-national company like Peugeot has endorsed the commercial programme of the 2007 tournament."
Peugeot also supplied vehicles for the tournament in 2003, when it was hosted by Australia and won by England, with its talismanic kicker Johnny Wilkinson.
