Renault has announced that the Kangoo Be Bop will become the third model in the new Kangoo range, following five-door car and van versions.
Set to launch in the UK in the spring of 2009, it is based closely on the Kangoo Compact Concept show car which was unveiled at the 2007 Frankfurt Motor Show.
The car’s compact size and original two-tone colour scheme gives what its manufacturer believes is "a particularly strong personality".
Four roomy seats afford it a sense of space and light – ideal for creating an atmosphere of joie de vivre.
There is also a glazed sliding roof and rear tailgate window which slides down out of sight.
Original styling details, such as the black headlamp masks, new bumpers, and 16-inch alloy wheels, mark it out from the competition.
Ground clearance has been raised 20mm compared with New Kangoo, while protective side mouldings give it a gritty ‘urban adventurer’ feel.
Style fans should note that the bonnet, grille, door mirrors, front bumper bib and tailgate panel are Cosmic Grey, while the rest of the bodywork is available in black, orange or white.
