This weekend sees the launch of a new BMW 6 series vehicle onto the market.
According to the German automaker, the 635d Grand Tourer marks an historic step in the evolution of the automobile.
Powered by a twin-turbocharged 2,993 cc engine and delivering 286 hp and 580 Nm of torque, the diesel-fuelled model will be attractive to those with one eye on the environment.
This is because EfficientDynamics technology has been employed, allowing the vehicle to emit 183 g per km for the coupe version and 190 g per km for the convertible.
"By mating BMW’s acclaimed twin-turbocharged diesel to the marque’s flagship 2-door Coupé and Convertible models, owners will now savour high-performance and economical motoring," said the automobile manufacturer.
The company has recently unveiled its 1 series convertible.
With two versions of the vehicle and five different engines available, motorists will be spoiled for choice when the model goes on sale.
