The new Ford Mondeo has won the ‘best value for money’ prize as part of the annual Northern Group of Motoring Writers (NGMW) awards.
Beating stiff competition, this latest accolade is one of many awards to have been taken home by the new Mondeo in recent years.
Previously collecting honours from Auto Express, Caravan Club and Fifth Gear, this latest gong was presented by the chairman of the NGMW.
Commenting on award, Frederic Manby said: "Each car on our shortlist was judged not just on performance but on value to the customer. With its impressive list of standard features the new Mondeo came out on top."
This year saw the awards celebrate is 34th anniversary with the event being held at the group’s annual dinner at the Swan Hotel in Harrogate.
Also this week, the Ford Motor Company has announced the appointment of Ray Day as vice president of communications from his previous position as executive director of corporate communications.
