Performance engineering company Roush is well known for its work with Ford muscle cars and its latest project on the Ford GT is now complete.
A limited edition series of models, with the title 600RE, has been developed in order to mark the end of production of the distinctive Ford GT.
Among the enhancements given to the range is an engine upgrade, raising both power and torque and delivering greater acceleration, as well as some style changes on the interior, with new features adapting the car’s appearance.
One of the notable new components of the 600RE model is an upgraded supercharger pulley system while a distinctive Tubi exhaust system has also been fitted.
The car is lent a unique character with bespoke vehicle numbering and identity plaques, tinted glass and black powder-coated wheels.
James Bassett, marketing manager for Roush Europe, said: "The Roush 600RE builds upon the success we achieved from the Roush 420RE Mustang.
"We have again taken a winning formula and enhanced those areas with features which our customers have asked for. The Roush 600RE is a truly exclusive edition and takes the fantastic Ford GT forward – even further."
