Fiat 500 scoops another award
Used Fiat dealers will be delighted with the success of the Fiat 500 Award city car.
The model has scooped the City Car of the Year award from BusinessCar magazine – a gong that will make the car even more appealing and help used Fiat dealers in their work.
As an eco-friendly and cheap-to-run vehicle, the Fiat 500 has excelled since its inception in 2007 as the magazine’s editor-in-chief, Tristan Young, explained.
“The Fiat 500 has captured both hearts and minds ever since it was first revealed,” he said.
“The low emissions and great running costs combine with the 500’s desirability to make a worthy winner.”
With a growing list of honours including CAR Magazine Car of the Year, Fifth Gear Small Car of the Year and Auto Express Best City Car 2008, the 500 looks set to remain a popular model in 2009.
The fuel-efficient car starts at just £8,100 from new, meaning that those who can lay their hands on a used one may be able to afford an even better model.
Fiat has been making cars since 1899 and has released over 400 models over the 120 years since its foundation.
