The AA’s commitment to user-centric design and agile delivery has led to the expansion of its user testing Centre of Excellence, tripling the volume of tests across digital platforms. This has enabled the launch of dozens of new self-service journeys, with nearly two-thirds of all customer interactions now handled digitally.
Transforming breakdown reporting and customer communication
The digital transformation of the ‘report and track breakdown’ service now supports millions of customer breakdown reports annually, serving both consumer and business segments with increased efficiency and reliability.
Further innovations include the rollout of digital and WhatsApp chat services, which have handled over a million customer chats. These channels have improved responsiveness and accessibility for customers seeking support.
Revamping the Mobile Experience
The team has completed a full architectural overhaul of The AA’s mobile app, enabling three times the release frequency and monthly feature updates. This has significantly enhanced the app’s performance and user experience.
Pioneering AI-Powered Services
In developing new customer journeys for vehicle buying and servicing, the team introduced The AA’s first AI-powered customer-facing chatbot, marking a major step forward in intelligent digital service delivery.
