Roll With It – Oasis Live ’25 at Heaton Park, Manchester – AA Travel Advice

  • Don’t Look Back in Anger – AA advises public transport to Manchester gigs wherever possible
  • Vehicles breaching restrictions may be towed away

11 July 2025

As Manchester prepares to welcome Oasis back for five historic homecoming gigs at Heaton Park on 11, 12, 16, 19, and 20 July, The AA has issued important travel advice to help fans enjoy the experience safely and smoothly.

Getting There

With no official car parks at the venue and the vast numbers of fans expected at the gigs, Some Might Say using public transport to reach Heaton Park is the best option. Metrolink trams will run every six minutes from Victoria Station directly to the venue, with extended services operating late into the night. Shuttle buses will also run from Lever Street in the city centre to Heaton Park, with return services after each show.

“Public transport is likely to be the better option; local authorities are working hard to ensure safe and efficient travel to and from the events.”
Tony Rich, AA Head of Road Safety

  • Stay hydrated and bring plenty of water
  • Allow extra time for travel

Due to the scale of the events, several roads around Heaton Park will be closed or restricted:

  • Clearway restrictions will be in place on Meade Hill Road and Sheepfoot Lane from 09:00 to 01:00
  • Vehicles breaching restrictions may be towed away
