At The AA, we want our customers to be able to access our services, whatever their communication needs. Our accessibility support hub is here to give you the information you need to make your experience with us as seamless as possible.
Accessible ways to report a breakdown:
On our website
If you're already a member, you can easily report a breakdown at any time using the link below. Simply follow the steps to confirm your details and we'll send a patrol out to help you, then you can track their progress on our website.
The AA app communication preferences
The quickest way to report a breakdown is in The AA app. Just like the website, you can share your location so our patrol can find exactly where you are. Plus, you'll be able to track when help will arrive straight from the app.
If you're unable to speak to us on the phone due to your personal circumstances or individual needs, enable the 'Deaf or hard of hearing' option in the app's settings. This means we'll communicate with you via text when reporting a breakdown, including live text updates so you can follow our progress.
Can't speak to us over the phone?
If you don't have The AA app and can't use the website or speak to us over the phone due to your personal circumstances, you can chat to us to report a breakdown:
