The personal injury cover that comes with our comprehensive car insurance gives up to £5,000 for death or permanent total disablement.
By adding Motor Accident Plan, up to 5 people including the driver can get these extra benefits following an accident in the insured car:
- Up to an additional £100,000 on top of any payment provided by your car insurance policy, or any other personal accident and life insurance cover.
- Up to £750 cover for physiotherapy sessions for injuries, including whiplash.
- Up to £250 cover for stress or trauma counselling.
- £1,500 payment for injuries like fractures and facial scarring.
- £60 payment for spending between 6 and 24 hours in hospital, then for every day thereafter. The same daily payment applies if an injury prevents you from working or carrying out usual activities, for up to 180 days.
Motor Accident Plan is already included with Platinum car insurance. You can add it to Silver and Gold car insurance when you get a quote.
The policyholder is also covered in someone else’s car. Any person aged 81 or over at the time of an accident is excluded in a claim.
