A 39 point inspection recommended between full or major services for vehicles that cover over 2,000 per month.

What is checked during an MOT and service?
There are three service levels, as laid out above. When you book an MOT and service in the same appointment, the MOT will check factors in these ten categories:
- Exterior and structure
- Lights and electrical
- Brake pads and brake discs
- Tyres and wheels
- Steering and suspension
- Visibility
- Exhaust and emissions
- Fuel system
- Interior and safety
- Number plate and vehicle identification number (VIN)
What do I need to bring for my MOT?
Garages can now access your documentation online so there’s generally no need to bring any paperwork.
However, if the car’s previous MOT has expired, make sure you have evidence that your MOT appointment is booked in as you drive the car to the garage.

The AA Approved Garage service is not included as part of AA breakdown cover membership. If you are a member in a breakdown or accident please use the AA app, or you can get help online.
2 0% interest instalment option details: Payment will be split into 4 equal instalments, with the first 25% payable on a debit card. Using this service will mean taking out a credit agreement with Payment Assist. Payment Assist can refuse credit, but the application process is immediate online, with no footprint left on the customers credit record. If the subsequent payments aren’t made on time, Payment Assist do reserve the right to charge a late payment fee.
