Following an insured emergency event, you'll be covered for unlimited call-outs and up to £500 towards the cost of repairs, including:1
- A boiler breakdown, or help towards the cost of a new boiler if yours is deemed beyond economical repair.
- Temporary roof repairs for damage caused by bad weather.
- Blocked toilets, sinks or drains.
- A water leak from an internal pipe.
- A leak from internal gas supply pipes running between the gas meter and any gas appliance.2
- Damage to external doors, locks or windows which affects the security of your home.
- Up to £250 towards alternative accommodation.
1 Home Emergency and Boiler Cover is optional for Silver and Gold home insurance, but is included as standard with Platinum home insurance and Platinum buildings insurance. You can add Home Emergency and Boiler Cover when you get a quote.
