We've offered Santa free breakdown cover for 24 hours this Christmas, giving him all-important 'reindeer assistance'.
While we have thousands of roadside patrols available in the run up to Christmas to help keep motorists on the move, this year we're going a step further.
For one night only, we'll be extending our service to Santa, who clocks up more milage than most on Christmas Eve.
While many car breakdowns might be due to a flat battery – which causes 1 in 4 breakdowns – if Santa runs into trouble, he might need a replacement for 1 of his herd of 9 reindeer.
To help if there is a reindeer related issue, we'll have replacement reindeer on standby so Santa can still make it to homes across the UK.
Kitted out with his very own AA uniform, our standby reindeer will be ready to step in and help Santa keep moving.
Driving in the UK at Christmas
Christmas is one of the busiest times of the year as we hit the road to visit family and friends around the UK. Usually, 23 and 24 December are the busiest days with over half of us (54%) expected to make a journey by car.
