Green card form

A Green Card is no longer required for driving in Europe

You no longer need a Green Card if you’re travelling for pleasure to a country we cover as standard, so we've removed our Green Card application form.

If you're travelling to a country we don’t cover as standard, you're not travelling for pleasure, or you want the same cover as you have in the UK for longer than 90 days in a policy year, give us a call and we’ll check if this is acceptable with your insurer. If it is, you may have to pay a fee.

When driving abroad, you should still take your certificate of insurance, full valid driving licence, log book (V5C), and an International Driving Permit where necessary.
