1. The Prize
1.1 These terms and conditions apply to the AA App “Pothole Dodger” game and utc.travel prize draw (the “Prize Draw”).
1.2 There are 10 x utc.travel annual memberships available as prizes as follows (each a “Prize”, together the “Prizes”):
1.3 The Prizes are valid to be redeemed within 6 months of receiving email from utc.travel
1.4 Prizes are subject to availability.
1.5 No cash alternative or alternative prize is available.
1.6 The Prizes are not transferable or exchangeable or available for resale under any circumstances.
1.7 The Prizes are not valid in conjunction with any other offer or discount or through a third party.
2. Promoters Name & Address
2.1 The promoter of the Prize Draw is Automobile Association Development Limited at Level 3, Plant, Basing View, Basingstoke, Hampshire, RG21 4HG, company number 01878835 (the “AA”).
3. How to Participate in the Prize Draw
3.1 To enter this Prize Draw,participants must complete and submit an entry by playing the [Pothole Dodger]” game (the “Pothole Game”) on the AA app.
3.2 You may only enter this Prize Draw once. Only one entry per person is allowed. Duplicate entries will be disqualified. You may play the Pothole Game as many times as you like but there is only one entry per person so playing the Pothole Game multiple times won’t increase your entries or chances of winning.
3.3 By entering this Prize Draw, you accept these terms and conditions.
3.4 Entries must be made between 10:00 UK time on 12 January 2026 and 10:00 UK time on 30 January 2026.Late or incomplete entries will not be accepted.
4. Eligibility
4.1 The Prize Draw is only open to residents of the UK who are aged 18 and over who are active AA breakdown members when entering the Prize Draw and when the Prize winner is selected. We will need to verify that you have a valid AA membership number to be eligible and we may ask you to provide this. If it cannot be verified that an entrant is a valid AA member then that entrant’s entry will be excluded.
4.2 The following are not eligible to enter or win this Prize Draw:
4.2.1 employees of the AA or its holding or subsidiary companies;
4.2.2 employees of agents or suppliers of the AA or its holding companies, who are professionally connected with the Prize Draw or its administration;
4.2.3 members of the immediate families of those identified in clauses 4.2.1 and 4.2.2 above.
4.3 The AA's decision as to the acceptability of all entries is final. Entries which are (as applicable): received after the closing date and time, incomplete or are otherwise not in accordance with these terms and conditions and/or the instructions given by the AA, will not be counted and will be disqualified.
4.4 AA accepts no responsibility for incomplete entries for any reason, including but not limited to those due to a technical fault (such as a technical malfunction, computer hardware or software failure, satellite, network or server failure). Any entries interrupted or not completed due to a technical interruption, fault or site failure will not be considered valid for entry into the Prize Draw.
4.5 No purchase is necessary to enter.
5. Selection of the Prize Winner
5.1 The Prize winner will be selected at random from all the eligible entries received by the closing date. This will be done by an automated process or a process which will be conducted or supervised by an independent person.
5.2 The Prize winners will be notified by email (using the email address associated with the AA app account used to enter the Prize Draw) by no later than 20 February 2026 to inform them of their Prize.
5.3 The Prize may not be claimed by a third party your behalf. The AA does not accept any responsibility if you are not able to claim the Prize.
5.4 The Prize is awarded conditionally upon acceptance. If a Prize winner declines the Prize, or is unable to be contacted within 14 working days of the AA attempting to notify the winner under clause use 5.2 above or the Prize winner is unable to comply with the requirements set out in in these terms and conditions, the Prize will be deemed as unclaimed or unaccepted and the AA reserved the right to draw an alternative winner.
5.5 The decision of the AA is final. No correspondence will be entered into regarding the outcome.
6. Limitation of liability
6.1 To the extent permitted by law, the AA, its agent or distributors will not in any circumstances be responsible or liable to compensate the winner or accept any liability for any loss, damage, personal injury or death occurring as a result of taking up the Prize except where it is caused by the negligence of the promoter, its agents or distributors or that of their employees. Your statutory rights are not affected.
6.2 Under no circumstances will the AA’s aggregate liability to you for any and all claims arising under these terms and conditions and/or the Prize Draw which do not fall within clause 6.1 above exceed £50.00.
7. Data Protection & Publicity
7.1 The Prize winner may be asked to take part in future publicity.
7.2 The AA will use your personal data associated with the AA app account used to enter the Prize Draw for the purpose of the management of the Prize Draw and the provision of the Prize, including to assess your eligibility for the Prize Draw and to administer the competition. 7.3 The AA must either publish or make available information that indicates that a valid award took place. We are required to make the forename, surname and the country of the winner available upon request.
7.4 If you object to any or all of your surname, country and winning entry being published or made available, please contact the AA at [email protected]. In such circumstances, the AA must still provide the information and winning entry to the Advertising Standards Authority on request.
8. General
8.1 If there is any reason to believe that there has been a breach of these terms and conditions, the AA may, at its sole discretion, reserve the right to exclude you from participating in the Prize Draw.
8.2 The AA reserves the right to hold void, suspend, cancel or amend the Prize Draw at any time without notice where circumstances beyond its control make this unavoidable.
8.3 These terms and conditions constitute the entire agreement between you and the AA and supersedes and extinguishes all previous agreements, promises, assurances, warranties, representations and understandings between us, whether written or oral, relating to its subject matter.
8.4 These terms and conditions (and any issues or disputes arising) shall be governed by English Law, and the AA and entrants to the Prize Draw submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts.
