The restaurant of this smart hotel certainly looks swish, and the kitchen delivers a menu suffused with creativity, from a very good roast partridge with boudin (very well made and delicious), parsley root and bergamot to start to a thoroughly well-timed main course of turbot and sea vegetables, which features blossom petals that pair well with the excellent consommé. Other mains include duck with Jerusalem artichoke, turnips and wild mushrooms or squab pigeon with a beetroot carpaccio and clementine. The meal could be rounded off with a spot-on dessert of chocolate fondant with pistachio ice cream
