Vauxhall Corsa and ADAM safety check

The AA is helping Vauxhall customers determine if their vehicle is affected by a steering system safety recall on ADAM and Corsa/Corsavan models registered since February 2014.

As a precaution, these vehicles should not be driven prior to inspection.

For guidance on how to check if your vehicle is affected, either:

  • Visit
  • Call the Customer Assistance Centre on 0800 026 0034 (09.00 to 19.00 Monday to Friday, and 17.00 at weekends), or
  • Call the AA on 0800 553388 (07.00 to midnight, 7 days a week)

The AA will guide you through the checking procedure for the production code on the steering shaft. If the code is one of the two affected we will arrange recovery to a dealer.
