The cottages are located within the grounds of Newtimber Place, a beautiful 17th century moated house within the South Downs National Park. There is ample parking and the rooms are on the ground floor. The heating is underfloor and is provided by a heat pump taking the heat from the nearby field. Some of the electric comes from solar panels in a field (not visible from the cottage).   There are a number of walks from the cottages, yet the cottages are only 7 miles from the popular city of Brighton and Hove which has attractions ranging from the Royal Pavilion to fishing to the i360. There is a riding school nearby and golf courses and the nearest public swimming pool is a 15 minute drive away.
