The interior of this whitewashed village inn has light wood tones and boarded walls in the dining area, a wood-burner in the bar, and comfortable seating outside. Pedigree Somerset produce underpins the kitchen's innovative approach, as evidenced in a first-course of raw and pickled beetroot, truffled goats’ cheese, hay ash, hazelnuts and onion seeds, followed by ‘head to tail’ woodland reared pork, spiced red cabbage, apples and mash. 35-day dry aged rib of beef is cooked to perfection on the Green Egg BBQ and then served with Anna potato, béarnaise and bone marrow. Luxurious desserts include rosemary pannacotta, apple granite, honeycomb and salted caramel.
