Wines by the glass

Retaining all that makes the British pub such a national asset, while applying the highest standards in every department, the team at the White Swan create something special. It's a pub all right, with real fires and real ales and, but there's home-made damson vodka up for grabs, and a chef delivering powerful flavours on a fiercely seasonal menu. The fare changes daily and offers the likes of ceps with runny confit egg and shavings of autumn truffle, followed by Yorkshire grouse or wild sea bass with crayfish sauce. Finish with a sophisticated Valrhona chocolate pavé with ice cream flavoured with thyme and beer.
