Terrace tables at Sumas look out on boats bobbing in the harbour - or, at low tide, locals digging for clams in the sands of Gorey Bay. There's a good amount of seafood on the menu and a classic fish soup with croûtons and rouille is a great way to start. The main course delivers roast loin of lamb wrapped in Serrano ham along with glazed sweetbreads, dauphinoise potato, pea purée and red wine sauce. For dessert, almond and vanilla pannacotta with green apple sorbet, salted caramel and vanilla sablé wraps things up on a high note, or you might finish with an entente cordiale of French and English cheeses.
