Good food and local ale in converted water mill

A pub of two halves, parts of the ODM date from the original 16th-century flour mill that inspired its name, while the rest was added in the 1970s. As it’s a Harvey's pub, you’ll find their real ales in the bar, while on the menu look for the dishes such as salt and pepper baby squid, pink peppercorn mayo and burnt lime; Harvey’s stout and white crabmeat Welsh rarebit with poached egg; and hop and barley sausages, smokey mash potato and crispy onions. The front garden is fenced, and a stream, which powers a working water-wheel, runs under the covered decking. The ODM holds beer festivals in June and September.
