Traditional pub in the heart of the Loch Lomond National Park

At a glance

Bar menu
Beer festival
Open all year
Dog friendly
Free Wi-Fi

On the east shore of Loch Long, just a few minutes from Loch Lomond, you’ll find the Village Inn. There’s a large beer garden and superb views of the ‘Arrochar Alps’. Ideally located for the hills and trails of the National Park, the friendly inn, now in new hands, is popular with locals and visitors alike. You’ll find three Scottish cask ales in the cosy bar, and if you’re hungry you can share a fish deli board, or enjoy something more substantial – start with oak-smoked salmon or duck and apricot terrine and move on to Cumberland sausages and mash; or British beef, Rioja and chorizo slow-cooked pie. There are steaks and burgers as well. Finish with sticky toffee pudding or Manchester custard tart.
