Rhedyn Guest House
Once a forester’s cottage, this charming place dates back to the 1800s and offers a peaceful and relaxing home away from home on the edge of the beautiful Brecon Beacons National Park. The three bedrooms are deeply comfortable and individually designed, each is a successful blend of traditional and contemporary features – two are on the ground floor and have their own entrances.
Owner, Muiread has had great fun furnishing the rooms, sourcing some quirky items such as the rhino wall lamps; returning guests will find that on each visit something will have changed. While there is a plethora of great things to do on the doorstep here, you’ll find it hard to drag yourself away from Muiread and Ciaran’s engaging hospitality – guests are treated like old friends.
The food is also noteworthy – much of the produce is grown in the kitchen garden or sourced from local producers. Muiread creates the menus daily to showcase the best seasonal produce, so providing a truly memorable dining experience.
