Discover Great Yarmouth

From modern theme parks and amusements set in gardens to miles of golden sands that hug the promenade, Great Yarmouth is every inch a modern seaside resort and the largest in East Anglia. You’ll find family attractions from carousels and end-of-the-pier shows to zoos, rollercoasters, spas, and gardens to keep everyone amused for hours.

Yarmouth celebrates its heritage as one of the country’s foremost maritime centres and Victorian seaside resorts and you can still see reminders of its once immense fishing industry. A few houses still stand that were once part of the ‘Rows’ – small passageways running inland from the quayside lined with fishermens’ houses.

Today Great Yarmouth is an elegant place of wide boulevards and handsome buildings. Contemporary buildings sit comfortably with Tudor and Victorian merchants’ houses and mansions, especially around the trendy quayside area and along the promenade and throughout the town, you will find stylish restaurants, pubs and pavement cafés.
