Charming restaurant with well-sourced menu

AA Inspector

This is a delightful establishment with a good deal of genteel charm, where a smartly neutral decor meets an appealing menu of unpretentious dishes based on high-quality regional produce. You might start with a brie and hazelnut bake served with a smoky bacon jam. Clearly a dab hand at vegetarian cookery, chef can also turn out some impressive meat and fish options, too, such as a main-course grilled whole black bream (marinated in coriander and lime mustard), or roast loin of lamb with caramelised onion and fig stuffing. Finish with strawberry and pink champagne cheesecake.
