Among the town's oldest half-timbered buildings, HTH's whimsical interior boasts a Parisian-style zinc bar-top bathed in ever-changing coloured light while elegant chandeliers in the blue-tiled conservatory shine out through delicate iron birdcages. Whether you want a hearty stew, a delicate soufflé or something between the two, there will be something to suit from the all-day menu's range of classics, or from the more elaborate evening selection. Begin maybe with cured mackerel, rhubarb, radish and ginger ponzu dressing, move on to a tasty rabbit pie with lardo, peas and carrots, or baked red mullet with Mediterranean vegetables, then what better than peaches and cream with vanilla pannacotta, charred peaches and champagne?
