In the Studley Hotel's Orchid restaurant, a multinational brigade of chefs delivers authentic regional flavours in an eclectic Pan-Asian melting pot of cuisines. Mango and darkwood interiors divided by Japanese lattice-style screens make for a classy contemporary setting. A starter of sui yuk partners roasted belly pork with crunchy crackling and a sweet and savoury dip of yellow bean and honey, ahead of fried sea bass fillet with a spicy curry of Thai herbs, shredded lime leaves and coconut cream. Stick with the exotic theme for a dessert of Thai-style steamed banana and sticky rice cake cooked in a banana leaf and served with coconut ice cream.
