There's scarcely room to swing a chopstick here, but exquisitely-crafted Japanese tapas are the draw. The creative kitchen fuses Japanese and modern European dishes, so check out the blackboard specials, then tackle the lengthy menu by sharing a bunch of small dishes. Seared Cornish squid sushi with yuzu kosho does a tap dance on your taste buds. Then try tar-tar chips (home-made potato crisps) filled with seafood, meat, vegetables and sauces. It's all a delight, from crispy pork belly with apple salsa and Korean chogochujang sauce, to double-cooked Scottish salmon with truffle teriyaki sauce, and fusion desserts like kokuto brown sugar-flavoured crème brûlée with green tea ice cream.
