When it comes to the number of seats there are for diners in this cosy restaurant from Scott Goss, the clue is in the name. To keep things interesting for visitors and staff, the menu changes every day but dishes stick rigidly to the seasons. A summer meal might start with watercress mousse, burnt shallot and confit egg yolk and move on to rump of lamb with broad beans, pea purée and lamb gravy. Finish, perhaps, with lemon and raspberry posset served with pistachio granola. A carefully considered wine list showcases natural and biodynamic wines from small producers.
