The wonderful view over the bay is a big draw at this hotel, but the Grill restaurant really puts the place on the map. It's a smart room with neutral colours and white napery, and a menu making excellent use of the island's bounty, with plenty of seafood in evidence, in bright, modern dishes. This is creative stuff, with first courses such as a terrine of suckling pig and pressed hock counterbalanced by piccalilli vegetables and apple gel. Among main courses, sea bass fillet is served with a crab bonbon, Jerusalem artichoke and crab butter sauce, and for pudding try lemon tart with limoncello syrup.
